We are honored and proud to learn about the BWW competition results as three of our rosé wines have been awarded a Gold Medal by the votes of 190.000 wine professionals and wine lovers from 115 countries. It is a great recognition of our team work in the vineyard and in the cellar.

BWW 2021 - Best Rosé Wines of the World Gold: Château la Sauvageonne - La Villa 2019 - Languedoc Château la Sauvageonne La Villa 2019 is a biodynamic rosé wine. 2019 was a great vintage. A unique blend resulting from a co-fermentation between Grenache, Vermentino and Viognier and maturing for 6 months in new French oak barrels, bringing smoothness and structure. |

BWW 2021 - Best Sparkling wines of the World Gold: Ballerina - AOP Crémant de Limoux. Ballerine is the sparkling wine made in Limoux following the method inherited from the monks of l’Abbaye de Saint Hilaire. A Brut rosé resulting from the blending of the best Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from high altitude terroirs, revealing freshness and tension. |
From the BWW 2021 press release: 20.675 wines received in total over 3 million votes from 190.000 wine professionals and wine lovers from 115 countries. After the voting period, the 100 wines with the most votes in each category reached the finals, organized in December 2020 in Helsinki. In the Finals the wines were evaluated and ranked two different times as blind by the panels of tastingbook professionals (selected judges from over 11.000 Pros: wine writers, bloggers, MW, sommeliers etc.) The six main categories included red wine, white wine, rose wine, sparkling wine, fortified wine and champagne. Under each category, the best wines were also awarded according to price level and country. |
