Heritage: When wine and its terroir tell a story

Terroirs are living encyclopaedias of a region's history. Languedoc-Roussillon, with its rich and varied history, offers each of its wines its own unique characteristics. Gérard Bertrand wanted to create a collection of one wine per terroir, in order to reveal the memory of the Languedoc region.

Héritage “An 1189” Pic Saint Loup 2018

Considered as the "Sainte-Victoire" of Languedoc, the Pic Saint-Loup is a mountain and a land of legend. This sculptural and majestic natural area near Montpellier is home to one of the most famous vineyards in the Occitan region and offers fine and elegant wines.

Heritage "Year 560" Tautavel 2018

Located at the foot of the Pyrenees, in the middle of steep cliffs, Tautavel is a historical site where our ancestors already lived more than 650,000 years ago. Sheltered by a natural amphitheatre of clay-limestone and schist, this vineyard produces a fleshy, racy wine expressing the raw strength of Languedoc-Roussillon.

Héritage “An 1618” Picpoul de Pinet 2019

Benefiting from the marine influences of the Mediterranean, the Picpoul de Pinet vineyard is recognized as one of the most famous in the Languedoc. Located on the coast of the Golf du Lion, this limestone terroir offers a fresh and dry wine that goes wonderfully with seafood.
