Located in the Corbières, the Domaine de Villemajou holds a special place for Gérard Bertrand.
This family property was purchased in 1970 by his father, Georges Bertrand.
The exceptional soil allows deep rooting, protecting the vineyard from Mediterranean climatic excesses (water stress, violent storms).
The vines are now cultivated organically and biodynamically (certification in 3 years)

Vinification et élevage
The vines are subject to constant care to preserve their health. grapes. They are trained using short pruning (Royat cordon) on high trellis (in order to have an excellent leaf surface). At the end of July, Green harvests are carried out to allow maceration homogeneous and guarantee the aromatic expression of each grape variety. The grapes are placed in the pneumatic press as soon as they arrive at the cellar. The settling is carried out after a 48-hour cold rest. Fermentation takes place under controlled temperatures in barrels. Stirring is systematically carried out; aging lasts 4 months.

A bright, clear lemon yellow dress, with some green reflections. Complex nose with notes grilled, citrus, lemon and orange peel, infusion, verbena… Lively attack in the mouth, ample and full, fatty, generous and delicately woody in the finish.
