Following on from the first collaboration with artist Robert Combas, this year discover a new limited edition collaboration with the famous artist Cyril Kongo.
Cyril Kongo's series, designed for this collection, is intended to be a profound and philosophical exploration of man's place between the Earth, our tangible and nourishing home, and the Cosmos, this mysterious and captivating infinity.
Using powerful visual elements, Kongo translates these questions into an immersive visual experience, inviting the viewer to reflect on the connections between the individual and the universe. Each painting encourages us to meditate on our identity, forged in the duality between our earthly roots and our eternal attraction to cosmic mysteries.
Château l'Hospitalet Art Collection 2021 – Back to Kosmos is made from a blend of old Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre vines, located on the Clape massif, a unique terroir composed of hard limestone. The plots have been carefully selected within Château l'Hospitalet, particularly around the letters " HOSPITALET ", in the heart of the estate, to guarantee exceptional quality.
This unique and rare vintage is available in a limited edition of only 8,000 bottles. It comes in a box decorated with the work of Cyril Kongo , available in different options: an individual box or a box of three bottles .
Cyril Phan, known as the artist Kongo, is known for his vibrant and colorful style. Kongo rose to prominence in the world of street art, where he left his mark with bold and expressive graffiti. His work has expanded into other art forms, including painting, sculpture, and fashion. Kongo is a visionary artist who has successfully fused urban and contemporary art, leaving an indelible mark on the global art landscape.
As part of the exhibition "The Little Prince and the Aviator" which celebrated the 80th anniversary of Antoine de Saint Exupéry's Little Prince at Château l'Hospitalet in 2023, Kongo exhibited his vibrantly colored canvases and a "Nord 1000", a legendary aircraft from the 1930s repainted in the colors of "street art". Thanks to the support of the Fondation Saint Exupéry pour la Jeunesse, which sponsors the Grand Prix du Patrimoine of the Aéro-Club de France, and the restoration work carried out by the association for the Renaissance of Caudron Simoun, visitors were able to admire this exceptional piece, a collector's plane turned work of art, under the graffiti artist's spray paint.
