Description of the wine

The estate is located northwest of Montpellier, backed by the gates of the Causse du Larzac, at an altitude of between 150 and 350 meters over an area of 9.6 hectares. There are two different soils, on the one hand ruffes, a very filtering soil rich in minerals, and on the other hand a sandstone and schist soil, deeper, fractured and allowing the creation of a water reserve. This cuvée comes from a plot selection, the vines are located in a climatic zone with large thermal amplitudes. The distance from the sea and the proximity of the Causse provide a certain freshness during the summer nights, beneficial to a slow and progressive maturation of the berries.

Vinification and aging

The plots of the cuvée come from a plot selection surrounding the Villa. They are located on the top of the vineyard from a very particular polyphonic schist terroir of volcanic origin. The harvests are manual. The vines with low yields are triggered on the basis of maturity controls: analysis of polyphenols contained in the grape skins and daily tasting of the grapes as the harvest approaches. The picking of healthy and ripe berries is an essential aspect in the process of making a great Cuvée. After the harvest, the grapes are traditionally brought to the cellar in the following hour. Each grape variety is vinified separately and gentle pumping over is carried out daily, guided by the tastings. The duration of alcoholic fermentation is around 10-12 days. The wines are then drained and pressed, followed by malolactic fermentation. Aging then continues in barrels for a period of 12 months.

Tasting note

This Cuvée has an intense red color. The nose is clear, soft, silky with aromas of strawberry. In the mouth, we notice a certain aromatic length with a perfect balance. The attack is frank accompanied by noble aromas of strawberry and scrubland.

What are the delivery times and costs?

Although all orders are shipped within 24 hours, it can take up to 48 hours in some cases.

Delivery costs depend on the delivery address, the number of bottles and the delivery option (mondial relay, express, standard, 24h, on pallet, etc.) and the price is calculated at the time of validation of the basket.
Standard delivery is free in France for orders over €125 and in other countries for orders over €300.
