AT THE HEART OF THE 2020 HARVEST

With a rainy spring and a hot summer, the work in the vineyard was particularly attentive this year, aiming to accompany nature and each vine with respect until the harvest.

After 9 weeks of harvesting, walking through the rows of vines, observing and tasting the grapes, appreciating the evolution of their maturity, carefully accompanying their reception in the cellar, we had, at the last cut of the pruning shears on October 15, the feeling of having watched over together the birth of a great 2020 vintage.

Vintage 2019 - Trends and perspectives in the vineyards Gérard Bertrand
Current conditions suggest an excellent vintage , as we have a very good balance between grapes and leaf area. The grapes are in excellent health, with functional foliage (without mineral deficiency). We will ensure, as every year, to reach the right level of maturity for each plot and we will be patient for the harvest which will probably end at the end of October.
